After graduating in 1994 the two partners worked in separate industries for the next six years. One in the paramedical industry and the other in Physical Therapy.

Although happy in their respective work lives, neither seemed completely fulfilled, both searching for the fire inside that comes with distribution of medical supplies.

They wanted to start a company that combined the excitement of sales with the ability to have a hand in the drug treatment industry.

In 2018, after over a decade in the industry, the partners decided it was time to private label their DOA product lines. They discussed how the Point of Care instant drug tests are behind the times in terms of design, with the majority of the products showing bland colors and a lack of creativeness. Over dinner they outlined their visions of the most modern and sleek looking drug test in the industry. Introducing the Magenta Product line.
